Protecting the future of our irreplaceable landscape

For over 30 years, Winnakee Land Trust has worked in partnership with private landowners to conserve and sustainably manage some of the Hudson Valley’s most vulnerable lands, including thousands of acres of open space, forests, farms, wetlands and watersheds, and wildlife habitats that are critical to the region’s environmental health.

The power of land trusts

Land trusts exist to save land and, through the power of conservation, help make communities stronger and healthier for a more secure future.  Winnakee is accredited by the Land Trust Alliance, leveraging protection of Hudson Valley lands and waters for the benefit of everyone and making a regional impact to global issues.

Our Priorities
