Join Us to Combat Invasive Buckthorn

Start off the New Year giving back to the land by volunteering at our newly donated preserve in Clermont, Columbia County! Read more about it here.

During this event, volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about forest regeneration practices occurring on the property and lend a hand to help remove invasive buckthorn, a highly invasive shrub, that is threatening our forest. 

Please wear weather appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, and socks you can tuck pants into. Be prepared for insects and ticks. Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will provide any tools and gloves you may need.
