Winnakee’s fun-filled tradition goes virtual

Winnakee’s Gala is traditionally held at a picturesque Hudson Valley property showcasing the kinds of unique viewsheds of our region that Winnakee seeks to protect. Maintaining the rural character of Dutchess County was a founding principal of Winnakee and remains so today, though over time the challenges we face in land protection have evolved to include the need for more comprehensive landscape level strategies. Sponsorship of this event has brought crucial funding to those efforts. The Gala also recognizes outstanding individuals or organizations who have significantly enhanced the environmental health of our region through our Good Land Award. 

For the past two years, this event has gone virtual, bringing the fun-filled tradition to the big screen to celebrate the importance of protecting our local forests and high value conservation lands across our region.
