Join Us for Trail Building at Robert’s Refuge

Drop in Wednesdays at any time from 3pm to 6pm to lend a hand!

WHEN: October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 3:00pm-6:00pm

WHERE: Meet at trailhead off North Quaker Lane, Hyde Park, NY

We have a new trail to build! Be a part of building the first mile of a new trail at our Robert’s Refuge Preserve in Hyde Park, NY. This preserve is not yet open to the public, but with a new trail loop, we’ll be able to welcome hikers to enjoy this interesting, forested preserve. The new trail will pass vernal pools, climb a ridgeline, and look over a healthy hemlock forest. Volunteers will help remove vegetation and grade the trail using hand tools. Drop in any Wednesday at any time from 3pm to 6pm to lend a hand!

We will supply all of the gloves and tools you may need. Please bring water, closed-toe shoes, and weather appropriate clothing.
