|Hudson Valley landscapes, forests and open spaces inspire immeasurable wonder. In the last three decades, Winnakee has developed over 20 miles of trails that take visitors through some of our region’s most rewarding natural areas protected by Winnakee. By offering public access to unique viewsheds, and through stewardship activities and educational programs, Winnakee is committed to providing opportunities for the community to directly experience the beauty and value of our important lands and waters.|
We believe outdoor experiences are fundamental to leading the next generation of conservationists who will ensure that our local forests can sustain growing challenges ahead and safeguard the essential benefits they provide to our health, economies and way of life. Building a network of collaborative stakeholders is vital to revitalizing these landscapes and lasting stewardship. Winnakee thanks our many partners highlighted here who, together, are playing an essential role in enhancing the ecological value of protected lands. This National Trails Day on Saturday, June 4th, we hope you will join us at one of our planned events or take time to enjoy one of Winnakee’s many wonderous trails.
