During this event, volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about forest regeneration practices occurring on the property and lend a hand to help remove invasive buckthorn, a highly invasive shrub, that is threatening our forest. A guided walk of the young forest, which is a Regenerate NY Reforestation project, will follow volunteer activities.
Please wear weather appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes and be prepared for insects. Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will provide any tools and gloves you may need.
