We Depend on Our Community Volunteers!

Open year-round, Burger Hill is maintained by a dedicated group of nearly 70 Park Stewards, and the Burger Hill Committee, all volunteers who contribute time and energy to ensuring the Park is open and ready for visitors to enjoy.

Volunteers generally work in pairs and are assigned a week out of the year to open and close the park. Winnakee is always looking for more help and is willing to sign-off on any community service hours! At the end of every summer, Winnakee hosts a party to thank Park Stewards for their service.
