Tool Workshop at Vlei Marsh

Get ready for the season ahead at our Volunteer Tool Prep Workshop! This hands-on session will focus on cleaning, sharpening, and maintaining essential hand tools such as loppers and pruners to keep them safe and efficient, so that you are ready to tackle spring stewardship.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own hand tools to service during the workshop. If there’s interest, we can also cover proper techniques for sharpening chainsaw chains.

Parking at Vlei Marsh Preserve is limited: Carpooling is encouraged and appreciated. If the lot is full you may park on Vlei Road on the preserve side of the street.
