Native Tree Planting in Clermont

Sunday, May 3rd from 9:30-11:30

This May, join us at our Clermont property for a special native tree planting celebration! After years of hard work removing invasive buckthorn and preparing the land, we’re ready to restore the forest with native species that will support this woodland, and the wildlife within it, for years to come.

Volunteers will play a vital role in this exciting next chapter, helping us reset the path forward for this important high value conservation forest. Come be part of the transformation and make a lasting impact on the future of this landscape.

Please wear weather appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, and socks you can tuck pants into. Be prepared for insects and ticks. Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will provide any tools and gloves you may need.

Read more about this project here.

Volunteer parking for this preserve is near 97 Jug Road in Clermont, NY. There will be signs along Jug Road directing volunteers where to park. Google map pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/PiUTFRs9riVwLhJ79
