Join us for Burger Hill Fall Work Day

Do you love visiting Drayton Grant Park at Burger Hill,
and think it is a jewel of a park in our community?

Do you appreciate that it is kept in good shape for all of us to enjoy?

Join Winnakee this Saturday, November 8^th from 10am-12pm for our Burger Hill Fall Workday, as we prepare the park for the winter season. We will be setting out haybales along the parking lot to prepare for sledding and removing invasive trees that are threatening to take over our grassy scenic hill. We will also clean up trash along the road to beautify the park.

Enjoy the fresh air and feel good about contributing to your special neighborhood park. See you there!

Volunteers should bring plenty of water and wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, bug spray and clothes they do not mind getting dirty. Gloves and tools will be provided. Please email jen@winnakee.org with any questions. Walk-in’s welcome day of but pre-registration preferred for planning purposes.
