The Winnakee Land Trust Barn Tour is a uniquely Hudson Valley event and a beloved fall activity. History buffs, families, architecture aficionados, cyclists, motorcyclists are invited to experience an up-close view of places that define our region’s rural character, which Winnakee works to protect.
The barn tour will visit historic barns and working farms. A mapped brochure details the self-guided stops on the tour. Docents will be on-hand outside each barn to provide additional information and answer questions. The tour includes many educational activities along the way at working farms and scenic picnic spots.
Tickets include an invitation, immediately following the tour, to a casual after-party reception at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park in the 1895 Stanford White Barn,120 Broadway, Tivoli, NY 12583. The party will feature live music, light farm fresh foods, local beer, wine and hard cider.
